Airport Pickup

Yes, Airport Pickup is available any day of the week between 10am-7pm. Airport Drop-off is also available on any day of the week between 10am-8pm. An additional charge of 2,500 JPY applies for weekend Pick-up and Drop-off.

We can recommend affordable taxi or airport limousine services to assist you with your specific travel plans. In case you are a minor (below 20 years old) or need special assistance, we might be able to organize a customized solution for you depending on availability. Please inquire directly to us by email.

Depending on our campus you can choose from a selection of different pickup spots. For Fukuoka campus: (1) Fukuoka Airport International & Domestic Terminal, (2) Hakata Port International Terminal, (3) Hakata Train Station. For Hokkaido campus: (1) New Chitose Airport, (2) Sapporo Okadama Airport, (3) Sapporo Train Station.

Due to busy peak times, immigration procedures, virus checks, and other precautions, your pickup will take into consideration these factors and be scheduled according to it. (1) International flights one hour after arrival time, (2) Domestic flights 40 mins after arrival time, (3) Ferry arrivals 30 mins after arrival time. For example, international flight arrival time 6pm, and airport pickup is scheduled for 7pm.

Please make sure not to arrive late by booking an earlier flight. However, if it happens that your flight arrives late, we have to charge an additional “Late Arrival Fee” for any pickups after 8pm - 9pm due to our staff having to serve outside regular working hours. If you arrive after 9pm, you have to stay the first night in a hotel. We can help with the arrangements!

We will organize your new pickup for the following day at the nearest pickup spot listed above. Please be patient as we will make sure to schedule a suitable pickup at the earliest time possible. Please rest assure, you won’t be charged any extra fee for the second airport pickup.

Unfortunately you would have to wait until the earliest pickup time. Nevertheless, this is a great opportunity to use your time wisely to explore the local souvenir shops or simply take a small nap.

You pay for the initial transportation, assistance by the driver as well as basic check-in support to your accommodation. For drop-offs, we will escort you to the airport entrance, yet for minors (below 20 years old) we can also assist at the ticket counter.

The short answer is No! However, if you have more than two large suitcases (exceeding 40 kilos), you should let us know in advance to omit any complications on the day of arrival.

You have to inform us at least two weeks before your return flight is scheduled. Please be aware that we reserve the right not to organize the airport drop-off due to the following reasons, e.g., outside our serving hours, no driver availability, and external factors. Nevertheless, we can provide advice on how you can directly book a taxi or another shuttle service.
