- Be at least 16 years old (due to Japanese government restrictions minors will have limited internship field choices)
- No Japanese language ability required (wider industry choices for students with high language levels)
- English Language Ability (for non-native speakers IELTS or TOEFL is preferred, yet not required)
- Study Japanese Business Manners with Meiji Academy for at least two weeks prior to your internship
- Highly motivated and eager to learn new things
