Bildungskarenz is a paid educational leave by the Austrian government. All Austrian employees are entitled to an educational paid leave for a qualified educational course anywhere in the world for a period of at least 2 months to 1 year. During your Bildungskarenz you will receive full financial support (known as “Weiterbildungsgeld”) from the Arbeitsmarktservice (AMS) including health and accident insurance. In addition, Bildungskarenz or Bildungsteilzeit won’t impose any additional financial expenses for your employer. Bildungskarenz is considered a very lucrative investment for both, employers and employees, to develop a superior workforce with enhanced business, linguistic, and intercultural communication skills giving them a competitive advantage on a global level.
The primary focus of your studies will be placed on our award-winning Japanese Core Course which consists of the following items:
The 50% Japanese grammar and 50% applied language skills approach focuses on a communicative Japanese learning experience, which will equip you with the relevant linguistic toolkit to master day-to-day interactions with Japanese speakers.
You will get a proper understanding of the full range of Japan’s Business language known as “Keigo” and also actively engage in various business roleplays, e.g., business card exchange, bowing culture, unspoken rules, and Japan’s unique corporate philosophy.
Learning another language is also immersing yourself in another culture. Take advantage of the various cultural activities and field excursions we offer to gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s beautiful culture.
Challenge your Japanese communication skills on different topics in a group chat setting with Japanese Native speakers.
